Among The honors is Honor UniT for Las Vegas, which puTs Them in The Top TOM of The world: over 502, of scholarships ThaT go To WesTem are given To ROTC members. Many of us see The members in Their uniforms and we see Them pracTicing Their drills and we wonder why? Bill Meyers says 'because we sTress making our sTudenTs aware of Their ciTizenship. re- sponsibilITies and one's own duTy in a demo- craTic socieTy.' The program as a whole gives moneTary and leadership advan- Tages in a miliTary service or academy, in college and civilian employment a sense of honesiy, imparTiaIiTy, Towards all people To become a belTer person.'
