1 Executive Board Getting Things organized The Exeuctive Board worked hard to pro- mote spirit at Westem. The Executive Board, with help of student council, organized and planned Homecoming and the blood drive. he Executive Board authorizes student and club activities. The activities of the year that are approved by the Executive Board make the calendar of events for the school year. Four members, Anthony Arrington, Leslie Guilland, Tyrone Smith, and Karen Wright, participated in an informational convention for the student council officers of Nevada High Schools. The convention took place in Elko, Nevada. The people who attended learned leadership qualities, how to pro- mote spirit, how to conduct pep rallies, and participated in state officer elections. 1. Being sociable and accepting responsibilities are major duties of the student body president, Anthony Arrington. 2.
