Practice and preparation pays o The annual Powder Puff game was played on October 14th, at the Warrior Stadium. Team members and fans enjoy this tradition because it's fun, exciting and it unites classes in competi- tion. All the girls practiced hard for weeks to be prepared for the tough, grueling game. Student coaches strived for their teams' perfection as they put forth as much effort asthe players. Final- ly, after a long exhausting game the seniors were victorious with a final score of 26-O. 1. Before the game the Juniors and Sophomores get together for a team cheer. 2. The Senior players and coaches pose for theirteam picture on the football field. 3. Seniors exhibit their spirit and pride on theirgoal post breakthrough. 4. Ready for play, the Juniors get tough and determined. 5. Senior pow- derpuff cheerleaders entertain the crowd with their high kicks and gorgeous figures. 6. Sklllful jumps are required of all powderpuft cheerleaders. 7. Uniting classes in fun and competition is part of the pow- derpuff tradition. 8. Senior girls warm up in pre-game exercises. 9. Junior powderpuff cheerlead- ers strut their stuff. 10. The tug-o- war competition was half-time entertainment. ii. Led by head coach David Compton, Senior girls practice blocks to be used on Sophomores and Juniors. fPhotos by: S.
