S.O.U.L. Club puts on a great Afro-American week for the students The annual Afro-American History Week was topped off with a fashion dinner show. Talent and variety highlight the assembl The Afro-American assembly brings out a vaierty of tributes. Opposite page, top, Girls perform an ancient African dance. Nina is her usual self in this skit with Cornell. Middle, Singing was a big asset to the assembly. These girls really swing into the fifties. Mammy dances her way into a backbend. Glenn and Vince ham it up doing the robot. Jeanie, Cheryl, and Janie keep in rhythm. Bottom, People in the stands went wild when Judy and Calvin sang. The audience freakes out because the band is cutting up. This page, top, George graces the assembly with a trumpet solo. Band members tune up before their big number. Middle, Renee, Simone and Cynthia pose in their colorful dashiekis. Radonna Harris and Rodney Elliot were honored with the title of Queen and King. Bottom, Cornell and Radonna battle it out.
