X Every year the members of the yearbook staff learn that organization, hard work, and patience are the keys to a successful publication. This Page, Top, Teri entertains while working on the mug books. Jody trys hard to find the right words to tell about her color pictures on makeup. Center, Brenda trys to help Tracy with his pageva case of the blind leading the blind. Bottom, Frank Checks his copy for errors while Ann finishes up her ad pages. Oppo- site Page, Top, Karen breathes a sigh of relief at having the Senior pages laid out for checking. Ilene crops another candid. Laurie listens to Dehbieis careful instructions about how to take the next step in finishing her pages. Shauna and Karmalee try to identify the band members in their group pic- ture. Mr. Smith looks doubtful about Lisa's picture request while Katie waits for a good moment to ask a question. Sheila is determined that she won't get so excited at the State game that she forgets to take pictures of the band.

UQ 1.-. .- . s i f , sstt .,s ligase wi F Deadlines produce trauma for nervous staff members Only the strong survive a year on the yearbook staff-nervous types can't take the pressure of deadlines and organizations that don't really exist. What is always fun is the large group picture of a group, that even the advisor doesn't know. This Page, Top, Shirley Jantzen and Susan Wallace got the added fun assignment of doing Mr. Ed- ward's bulletin board. There were certain key requirements involved in doing that job. Carol was always one to brighten the writing of anyone's captions. LeAnn trys to dodge the camera but abhors any- one else who does it. Debbie Daneil concentrates hard on getting her page done correctly. Opposite Page, Top, Megan could always smile on the day of a deadline because the job of the phot editor was already done. Linda smiles, but grimly, because she had great trouble with the senior headlines. Suzi hides in a corner trying desperately to think ofa good feature. Kathy Cropper was full of hard work no matter how obnoxious the task. .lulie smiles pensively over the re- search involved in selecting the necessary old pictures forthe division pages. Kristin was a confused addition to the staff at semester time. Connie Myles looks desperate as she discovers that no one knows the members of her group picture. Connie Brown carefully combs the proof books looking for senior candids. fff: W
