11 Arsenic and Old Lace provided an opportunit for character acting The Drama departments production of Arsenic and Old Lace was one ofthe highlights of the fall. Opposite Page, Top, Joan Onderko and Tricia Yost played the Brewster sisters, two old ladies with a unique view of charity. Center, Mortimer Brewster, played by Dean Jewell, doses while bound to a chair so he will have to listen to officer O'Hara's play. Dr. Einstein, played by Pat Sullivan, took pride in frightening the aunts. Mortimer and Elaine, played by Therese Feeley, began an ordinary eve- ning by getting engaged. Bottom, Dr. Einstein and Jonathan, played by Eric Kieser, almost end it all with a sip of the aunties poinsoned wine. Mr. Witherspoon and Teddy, played by Fred Mirti and Bill Blum, pre- pare to depart on the African safari. This Page, Mr. Witherspoon and Dr. Harper, played by Blake Hill, talk it over. Jonathan makes it clear to Dr. Einstein that they will dispose of Mortimer by the techniques that Jonathan has in mind. Center, Officer Brophy and O'Hara, played by Bob Compan and Steve Bordelon, speak about the nights events. Teddy prepares to give his views on the correct behavior of a president. Mr. Gibbs saved himself by dashing for freedom when the aunts offered him a glass of their wine. Bottom, Great was the rejoicing in the Brewster home when Mortimer and Elaine announced their engagement. Visiting the aunts even for a moment was a very aging experience. Abby and Mor- timer discuss the contents of the window seat.

Girls finall get their guys After being postponed several times Sadie Hawkins drew an enthusiastic crowd. Opposite Page, Top, Soul Connection played music everyone could get into. Ceri- ter, The fortune teller, Mrs. Marra, gave some shocking predictions to Karen Shines and Jack Moore. Bottom, Left, Karen Parker and Russell Bishop smile for the photographers. Right, Eddie Giagni can't believe what he sees. Center, Jody Hale and Jim Moore reign as Senior Class Daisy Mae and Little Abner. Bob Mclntyre and Penny Pullan are the Juniors royalty. This Page, Top, Cynthia, Ora, Connie and Michele join the Soul train. Center, Left, Taking a rest are Brian Nitz and Lynn Gilbert. Right, Fred Kravetz enjoys a slow song with his date. Bottom, Mr. Bassing gives an almost believeable cermony as Marrying Sam. 3 1 'P 217
