W W- mn' Color and originality are brought out with the Bicentennial theme Sophomores show their spirit and determination by taking first place in fioat judging. This Page, Top, Sophomores suddenly real- ize that they need something to pull their float. Center, Jo Daniels and Rowen Curd find that float building is not all that it is cracked up to be. Bottom, Uncle Sam's hat, a longtime symbol ofAmerica, is the major attraction of the Junior float. Opposite Page Top, Janice Anson smiles as she finds out she is having her picture taken. Linda Byorick and Debbie Thomas continue to work steadily so the Junior float will be done in time for judging. Sophomore girls take advantage of the presence of Senior boys to attract some attention. Kenny and Pat listen to the instructions on what they are to do on the Soul Club float. Center, The totem pole done by the Drama Club represents the different schools and their colors show- ing Western on top. In keeping with the bicentennial theme, Sopho- mores did the American flag rippling in the wind. Bottom, Tina Champoux puts the finishing touches on the Sophomore float.
