THIS PA GE, TOP, Teensie Aberle is not taken in by what Kelley Worthen and Vicky Dockter are reading in the ABC book which was destined for a needy fam- ily. BOTTOM, Cindy Murley searches every last proof sheet for candids of nonexistent juniors in an effort to complete her page. Mary Melcancon, Dawn Tobler, and Pam Johnson prove that six hands are better than two when it comes to getting things done. OPPOSITE PAGE, TOP, One of the projects the staff has for pro- moting the yearbook is that of speaking to the sopho- more orientation classes. Here Jill Vranesh, Teensie Aberle, Mary Ann Florer, and Richelle Waller confer over the last stupid sophomore question while the class examines old yearbooks. Boyd Jacob and Jim Tamaka delight in harassing Mrs. Smith with their sports prob- lems, real and imagined. CENTER, Dell Newport and Patti Lucas were two confused new staff members when they came into the class three days before a major deadline. Layout editor, Sharon Carter, was not always so sure that the cover idea was a good one especially when she had to do the acutal pasteup. Donna Marks and Jeannie Hughes work like mad to get their pages on triplicate early, and then pray that they won't have to change them. Denise Burgess's meticulous care on her pages was nerve wracking and enviable. Without Mary Brown and Kerry McDonald to brighten the day, things would have been very dull. Here Mary brushes her hair for her one thousandth picture while Kerry thinks up an appropriate but misspelled caption for it. ,rw Production in olves hard work
