BOTTOM, Poker games were a big attraction on the day before vacation. The day be- fore Christmas vacation saw only a few people seated in class. The drama departments production of The Littlest Angel was a great success. THIS PA GE, BOTTOM, Mr. Garoufes and the choir kept everyone in the Christmas spirit by earoling through the halls. Many happy faces were seen on the day before vacation. One of the Student Council's contributions to Christmas week was having a door decorating contest. Shelly holds up a sample of the clothing the yearbook staff collected for a needy family. TOP, .lim Morris gets a kick out of playing with Mr. Bassings Christmas door. J-I -.,,...- , Christmas was a week filled with parties, decorations, and good cheer for everyone THIS PA GE, TOP, Everyone gets together to discuss Christmas plans. RIGHT, Billy Johnson trys to fig- ure out how the toy works. BOTTOM, Danny Romo presents a magic show for the Spanish classes. Linda Bernabei helps prepare gifts for NI-lS's needy family. Even the yearbook staff contributed to the cookie contest. Bob Shaddy and Sue McCarty were the Junior class Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. OPPOSITE PAGE, TOP, The only good thing about the day before vacation was the parties. MIDDLE, Winners of the Student Council cookie contest were Tina Royal, Denae Brooksby, and Laurie DeAlrad. Mr. Hawkins class had a rather unusual idea of what a desert Christmas tree should look like. BOTTOM, Al Land's portrayal of the Saint at the door of heaven was very unique.
