SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS D ADVISURS Advisors: Mr. Baker, Mr. Louis, Mrs. Kettlehut, Mrs. Coon. The Senior Class of T965 has the unique honor of 'eing Western High School's first four-year gradu- ting class. Besides having this honor, it has been aid Time and time again, that the Class of '65 has een The finest one The school has ever seen in its rief four year history. For these two reasons, this lass probably feels more admiration for the Home f the Warriors than any previous group of Seniors, ince it has seen Western grow from an unspiriteol, ashful school, to the best scholastic and athletic wigh school institution in the state. his year the Seniors kept up their fine standards in ll their functions. Activities such as the Senior Mixer, urkey Basketball game, Senior Assembly, Christmas all, Senior Banquet, Senior Recognition Day and enior Trip were all tremendous successes due to the articipation of the class. Because of some aggres- ive Seniors, the idea to build a football stadium was ormulated. From now on, new traditions such as the eanie Initiation to incoming Sophomores, and the urtle Trot can be attributed to this group of stu- ents. The year ended with an inspiring. baccalaure- te and a tearful graduation. es, it is a fact that the Seniors have truly kept up heir fine standards. But behind the scenes and re- ponsible for a maiority of all the guidance given to e class are the advisors: Mrs. .loan B. Kettelhut, rs. Patricia Coon, Mr. L. P. Louis and Mr. David aker. To these four people go the class's utmost anks. To the counselors, Mrs. Bernadean Wood and r. Larry Lockridge, goes the gratitude of the entire lass for their help in preparing them forthe future. nd last but definitely not least is Vice-Principal, Mr. ngelo Collis, upon whose iudgment the class has lied many times in periods of difficulty. To all of ese -people the Class of T965 will be eternally rateful. It is because of you that this class will feel cure in facing the future.
