Second row: Chris Gresham, President, Peter Chase, Vice President. For the sake of argument . . . The re- cently organized Debate Club fared very well in its initial year. The club partici- pated in debates at Weber, Utah, Moapa Valley, Dixie of Saint George, Utah, the Southern Nevada Invitational Debate, and climaxed the year at the State Debate Tournament in Reno. In addition, several members received trophies from civic or- ganizations for their outstanding Work. Western High School owes much to this club for its efforts in raising the prestige of our school.
