Studying a language enriched by a romantic history and used as the foundation for many mo- dern languages today, Latin stu- dents organized a club with the assistance of their advisor, Mrs. Martha Robbins. The pupils learned of the founding of Home by Romulus and Remus and of its growth, glory, final corrup- tion, and downfall. By realizing the mistakes and accomplish- ments of this great civilization, Latin students learned to take their place in the world of to- morrow fully aware of the chal- lenge ahead. Due to the extraordinary en- thusiasm and interest expressed by Biology students, both night and day organizations were in- itiated in order to further the study of nature. By dissecting animals, the students learned of the development of life from the one-celled bacteria to man's per- fection. In drawing closer to na- ture, they drew closer to a hap- pier life of understanding and knowledge of the world about them.
