Hi-Y and Chess Newest Additions to List of Clubs The newly formed Chess Club gives those persons interested in the game of chess an opportunity to find better competition and learn many new techniques and maneuvers. Inter-school chess tournaments are held throughout the year and give members a chance to test their skills against stiffer competition. Patience and an interest in chess are requirements for admittance to the Chess Club. Hi -Y is arelatively new club at WHS, but certainly not an inactive one. Members sponsor dances throughout the year. This year's faculty basketball game was the re- sult of the efforts of Hi-Y. Though a young club, it is one of the most active. Patience is required in making im- portant decisions. lst ROW--R. Waddellg M. Deardorfg M. Steiner, Sec.g R. Reedy, Vice-Pres.5 S. Kay,Pres.g Mr. Burdette. 2nd ROW--M. Hurleyg 1. Hamiltong L.
