uclo and H Gurus Are Novelties of the P E Class The aim of the physical education classes has changed. In the past, the student has tried to achieve skill and ability ina variety of sports. Of course, sportsmanship went with this. This year these aims still hold, but something has been added. The sports being taught are those which the student will enjoy throughout his entire life. In advanced physical education, there is even more importance placed on these lifetime sports. Naturally the students are still taught football, basketball, softball and volleyball, but in addition to this they are taught other sports such as bowling, swimming, golf and tennis. New also to the advanced class is co -ed physical ed- ucation Qheh, hehj. This is the first year Western has had this type of program, and it seems to be favorable, particularly to the students.
