While the juniors and seniors Work with wood and metal, the freshmen concentrate their talents on plastic and wood. The 7th and Sth work not only with plastic and Woods but also with leather carving. After the boys turn in the required projects, they are encouraged to do original projects. An elec- tric guitar made by Ronald Hansworth was one of the biggest accomplishments of the year. This course, because of its opportunities for the students to express themselves, is one which understandably lures so many of our Western males. 55
