THE CLASS OF I96O The Sophomore Class has had their usual busyyear in keeping with the Spirit of W. H. S. A fighting Spirit of Western showed itself in our contributions to the school athletic program. The class has been very well organized, thanks to the aid of our sponsors, Mrs. Schulz and Mr. Dunlap, and also of our officers who are as follows: President ..... . . Dirk James, Bill Ripberger Mattigene Anderson and Jay Farwick represented our class in the student council. On January 6, 1958, the Sophomores attended the Purdue vs. Indiana ball game at Lafayette. We all had a wonderful time. We were very glad to be able to order our class rings in the spring, so that we might get them earlier next fall. We Sophomores have had a fun-filled time this year, and we certainly hope that the next two years are as successfulas the past one has been.
