The class of 8O started the year off with a bang with the largest - Q candy sale ever held at Western. The juniors made almost tive thousand silk' d f ig? dollars on the sale. Mike Savoie took top honors and Sue McNally .W .l second in total sales. The money raised will be used for the i M- junior-senior prom and for the senior class trip. Class officer elections were held in the spring for the 78-79 year. Vicki Knoerr was elected president, Jeane Sinke was elected vice-president, the secretary is Audrey Buechler and treasurer is Leslie Greenwood. The senators are Kendy Bridgewater, Sue Brinkman, Pat Schmidt and Gigi Wesselyi Top row: Secretary Audrey Bucchlcr, Treasurer Leslie Many of the juniors also had to put up with PSAT and ACT tests which are required for college.
