Vocational Education Courses Provide Practical Experiences To prepare students for various careers after gradu- ation, vocational courses are offered at Western. In courses such as Typing, Shorthand, Bookkeeping, and Business English, skills useful to secretaries, clerical workers, and businessmen are taught. Industrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing prepare students for techni- cal careers, while Home Economics teaches skills use- ful to young homemakers.
