Kim Littmann Kim Littmann and Melvin Murdoch, seniors, were chosen by the Athletic Association and the Lettermen's Club to attend the FCA Convention. They were chosen by their outstanding athletic ability and their faithful church attendance . The camp was one of the greatest experiences I ever had in my life. I came to realize how much Christ meant to meg that I could be a witness for Him along with enjoying sports, was Kim's reaction to the convention. Melvin said, It made me to realize that I could wholly dedicate my life to Christ and still enjoy my social life Boys Attend FCA The Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp was held in Estes Park, Colorado , from Iune 7 -13 . Professional athletes, pros, and top college players were there . The main speaker was Bill Glass of the Cleveland Browns. The main purpose of the camp was to help the athletes come closer to Christ and to become a witness for Him. It also showed how important FCA was to pros and college people alikeg that Christ was important on and off the playing field. Snapping pictures, planning pages, and meeting deadlines are all factors which have made the final copy of Flight IX possible: but behind these activities was the patient cooperation of Carl Hildebrand, principal: the much needed guidance of Mrs. Kittye Neil, advisor: the entire faculty, and a host of fellow students who were so faithful to cooperate in any way they could. These are only a few of the Footprints that we have made. As the school year of 1969-'70 comes to a close, we look back and see a year that was full of joys, sorrows, and most of all, everlasting friendships. We have left all those things in a treasure chest of memory and have emerged to find ourselves faced with a fresh decade that we are to mold and create with our own hands. The friends we have made, the learning we have acquired, and the problems we have overcome all contribute to our ability to assume and carry on the responsibility that we must face. Our fellow citizens made great strides during the 60's, but promises of greater opportunities for more prominent Foot- prints await us during the decade of the '7O's.
