We Salute . . . . . . those who serve our country with pride, courage, and dignity. As students of Western Heights High School, we can accept with quiet pride the fact that the heritage of our American soldier is inseparable from the traditions and heritage of our country. K The American soldier must be versatile and suitedto our times. He must feel at home in an age of nuclear warheads, jet aircraft and communication satellites. He must be able to perform effectively in any type of terrain and under any conditions of weather for the cause of freedom. He remains the vital ingredient. No machine, no computer, no fantastic weaponry of air, land or sea will take his place. We dedicate our yearbook, Flight VII 1968, to American servicemen around the world.
