We, the graduating class of Guilford High School dedicate the 1953 AMICI to Mom, whose patience and gentle firmness have guided us through the years of our lives, whose loving words have made us forget our sorrows and disappointments, and whose gentle hands have wiped away many tears. Mom, who has sat up into the wee hours of the night fixing a pair of pants for Junior's big date, or making a party dress for Sally's first dance, and whose understanding love for her children has cleared every puzzle of our incapable minds. and to Dad, the provider, the most wonderful father any child could ever have. Dad, who likes to kid you, who slips you a dollar or two when you need it for an important date, who will even give you the keys for the car on the night he had planned to take Mother to the concert.
