Summer went by as fast as our first year We again met each other and many new faces appeared at D T C among the students and faculty The expansion of our college was more evident than ever during this year. Our first semester brought calculus, bacteriology, and swarms of odors both old and new from the lab. lt also brought our greatest accomplishment, the Snack Bar to which we ran between classes. Above all, we could see the new Science Building nearing completion and we waited for the day when we would be using it. The much needed addition was like a gift from heaven. We are proud of it and hope that the future science students will enjoy its conveniences as much as we have. Winter's snow came and so did our annual Christmas party. We celebrated and wished our friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and then departed for a much needed vacation. We now look forward to Spring and our trip to New York with the Science Confer- ence at Barnard College. Above all, June will bring graduation and a regretful end to our days at D.T.C. We have had two happy and successful years together. We have acquired many friendships and a wealth of knowledge. Now we must depart, so its not farewell, but till we meet again. Such a dynamic force was he, that we who were placed in contact with him, were propelled by his greC1Tr16SS- Academically, he gave to us great in- spiration, socially he enlightened US: financially, he enriched us. What more can be said in dedication to Murf besides thanks, future success, and farewell.
