FOREWORD When we, the Class of l950, entered Danbury Teachers College ours was the largest class ever to have enrolled up to that time. We were the start of a new trend. A trend that saw the building of the quonset huts, Curley Hall, the Science building, that watched new' blood enter the faculty, that saw old traditions die and watched as new ideas were born-the Banquet, the C. G. A. Banquet, Interim, Do-day, the Curriculum Committee. And so it was with the yearbook. It too must succumb to change. Our yearbook will be the last to be edited soley by Seniors. ln the future the yearbook will no longer be a class project but a school proiect. With our yearbook we have tried somewhat to bridge the gap between the old and the new. We have attempted to make this yearbook one that will be of interest not only to Seniors but to members of all classes. In doing this we have filled the pages with many and varied pictures,.,and- have tried to keep literary sections of interest only to Seniors ata minimum. We have worked hard and with sincerity, and hope to be iudged accordingly. I I 2
