ASSOCIATION FOR CHILDHOOD EDUCATION The Association for Childhood Education is dedicated to the welfare and education of children The local branch is made up mainly of elementary education majors, but membership is open to all those in- terested in children. Among the many ACE activities for this year has been the adop- tion of a new constitution for the local branch, and the sponsorship of Elementary Education Day on February 20. The purpose of the Women ' s Athletic Association is to promote interest among women athletic activities, health, and sportsman- ship. Through a program of varied activities the W A A attempts to provide situations in which the women may work as well as play together and thus develop a mutual understanding of and respect for one another This is accomplished through the efforts involved in planning and engaging in comping trips, sock hops, hikes, play days, Homecoming, and Sadie Hawkins programs A well-rounded program to develop a well-rounded personality is the goal which we seek.
