All freshman gym students were re- quired to take health courses while the sophomore gym classes stressed first aid and driver education. Those students taking A.L.M. courses of French, Latin, Spanish, and German were the privileged few to get an out of school- in school feeling. Three students tak- ing Russian become Truckers for the brief period of that class. The Foreign Language Department added spice to the making of our new school.
