The WBHS band had made its debut with the addition of 8th graders. Three-fourths of these students learned to march during the summer. Clad in new uniforms, the Barbara Critz, Drum Mojorette band roused the school spirit of Bruins at football games and pep-rallies under the direction of Mr. Ralph Shumaker.
