THEN THOSE WHO FEARED THE LORD SPOKF. TO ONE ANOTHER, AND THE LORD GAVE ATTENTION AND HEARD IT, AND A BOOK OF RE- MEMBRANCE WAS WRITTEN BEFORE HIM FOR THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD AND WHO ESTEEM HIS NAME. 1973-74 is unique , . . it is now. Never again will there be assembled here the same persons, the same circumstances, the same events. Our time together deserves remembrance. The yearbook staff has set itself to the task of writing a book by which to remember the school year 73-74 at Western Bible Institute. So it is that we have chosen and approved a new name for our yearbook, ZIKKARON., Taken from Malachi 3:16, zikkaron QSI-ka-ron'j is the Hebrew word for Book of Remembrance. The book written before the Lord included specifically the conversation of those who feared Him. Our book is expanded somewhat to include the fellow- ship, i.e. , thought, speech, action, of those gathered here for a time of learn- ing of Him and service for Him. That God's attention is focused on every detail of our lives should make us careful, humble and reverent before Him. ZIKKARON STAFF , 1973-74 THE THINGS THAT WERE HARDEST TO BEAR ARE THE SWEETEST TO REMEMBER. - Seneca 2
