:Belinda Spilman You know, the gate is a good place to head for when you're down. So, one night last week Qin Marchj that's where I went. On the way back I started thinking of each building here on cam- pus. Many people complain about the buildings here at Wes- tern, and I must admit that I have been caught in this too, but as I look back over the last four years, I give God thanks for each one of them. I can hear it now . . . WHY? Well, really it's not the walls or the floor, but the many, many people God allowed me to meet under their roofs. The people I lived with, ate with, studied the Word of God with. The people I shared my life with. I thank God for each thing they've added, for each rough edge they've sanded off. I Thess. 5:24 has been the verse that has meant the most to me this year. As I have waited for the Lord to show me what He wants for my future. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. He has called me, He will work it all out. Q., Ni . , - X , ,, , 1' X- K, I6 New

im ciliiller Tw After four years at W.,B.l. the one sure thing I've learned is this: the Christian life is a process, and this process involves diligent discipline daily. One of the greatest pitfalls of any bible school student is that of be- coming so academic that we lose our practical walk. One of the biggest blessings is that of ministering to the Body of Christ at school and learning how to work within it. Of course, the greatest blessing and the thing I will take with me in remembering W.B.I., , is that of coming to know more fully the the Lord Jesus Christ through His Word l 1 1

arry E i ison My years at Western have been a mixture of observing and learning. I have learned in the classes because each was informative and a challenge. I think the greatest enjoyment that I have had at Western is watching people change as the Word of God enters their hearts. I also thank God for the faculty and the Wise counsel that they give to students. Each time I needed help I found good ad- vice and an open, concerned counsellor. I also thank God for each student because each person changes us and through them God makes us grow. I am thankful for the time I have been here and am some- what sorry to see it pass. 1 tr Saw-wg
