In the fall of 1968 a young girl from Lexington, Nebraska, hailed the campus of Western Bible Institute full of anticipation of what Bible school would hold for her. This girl was Marvel Tedrow. In just a few hours I had a job and a number of new friends to help ease the parting pains of leaving family and friends behind. I enrolled on the Sacred Music Minor and music played a great roll during my four years at Western. In June following my third year of school Ibecame Mrs. Mike McGuire. Later while serving in an assistant pas- torate in Lexington, Nebraska, another member was ad- ded to our family, Michele. 'Eyes .Dooney The lesson that the Lord has impres- sed upon me most while I've been here at Western is how I should trust Him more. It isn't always easy to trust Him, but I know that He will continue to bring things into my life that will teach me to trust my Master more., Here's a poem that really means alot to me: I do not know what still awaits Or what the morrow bringsg But with the glad salute of faith, I hail its opening wings! For this I know - that in my Lord Shall all my needs be metg And I can trust the heart of Him Who has not failed me yet. 13 . 5

im ciliiller Tw After four years at W.,B.l. the one sure thing I've learned is this: the Christian life is a process, and this process involves diligent discipline daily. One of the greatest pitfalls of any bible school student is that of be- coming so academic that we lose our practical walk. One of the biggest blessings is that of ministering to the Body of Christ at school and learning how to work within it. Of course, the greatest blessing and the thing I will take with me in remembering W.B.I., , is that of coming to know more fully the the Lord Jesus Christ through His Word l 1 1
