Louise is very interested in the lives of other people. She accepts people at face value. She class secretary, social committee representative, and has willingly joined in doing whatever else needed to be done. Patty has had struggles throughout her four years, yet she had the confi- dence that God would see her through each one. 2,41 Z is understanding to the needs of other students and tries to help and encourage them by sharing openly and honestly from God's Word and her own experience. Louise is very diligent and disciplined in her studies and puts them before her own social life. I L v l Barbara Gerken from Lexington, Nebraska, has been a real encouragement to many people as she's been here at Western. Through many trials, expecially in the area of finances, God has proved Himself faithful to her. Barb has always been willing to share in the joy and sorrow of others. When one needs a friend she is always there. Barb has been involved in Chorale and has also served as a class officer during her stay here. Many who attended W.B.I. will not soon for get Jane Ann Carlson from Woodland Park, Colorado, also known as HJackieU. Her ready smile was a welcome ray of sunshine from behind the cafeteria counter. At par ties, in class, and most anywhere she was the first to appreciate a good laugh. But to many of us. Having served as assistant girl's dorm supervisor all 3 years she at- ready to listen and guide from the Word. friend to all who knew her. Jane Ann was also a spiritual encouragement tended W.B.I., she was a source of comfort, Her devotion to her Savior made her a loyal Larry Bockus from Lexington, Nebraska, is a man whose life is characterized by dogged determina- tion, diligence, benevolence, and charitableness in whatever he does and one that can always be depended upon no matter what the occasion offers. Constantly emanating from Larry's life is the flow of spiritual uplifting and encourage- ment that many students find themselves lacking in. Larry deserves some modest tribute from those who found his company an encouragement in their own lives. These rare qualities have marked Larry as one for the sake of necessity and out of Christian love for his brothers and sisters, his duty to surpass his duty. Keith O. Heck, alias Keith Hunt, from Morrison, Colorado,has been active for the Lord in many areas because of an abundant blessing of talent. Whether as a pastor, leader of a Bible study, counselor of a probationer, or a radio announcer his surrender to the Holy Spirit has borne fruit Many fellow students have benefitted spiritually from his sincere and loving counsel. He has been blessed with a true helpmeet, his wife Carol, a son Cary, and a daughter Rene. They have been accepted by Overseas Missionary Fellowship for a church planting ministry in Thailand.
