abundanf life fo us Masters of deceit come to steal away, but Christ came just to give. His lifeblood drained upon the tree that the abundant life we might live. Abundant not so much in size, or shape, or quantity, But rather in those precious things composing quality. It's not a life granting your every wish and desire, But one furnishing results to stand the trial by fire. He became poor that we might be rich: that's what He spoke about- A life so filled only those Who haven't encountered it can doubt. We have just to depend upon Christ's storehouse glorious, For we realize only through Him can life become victorious. As Christ is the Vine and we the branches abiding, We see it's a life bearing fruit-even others guiding. God's grandest gifts are held in trust for those who will obeyg lt becomes a life, excitement mounting, each pace of the way. The abundant life is one so filled with Christ and all He gives, That it overflows engulfing others that they too may live. befh jones . . fhe .lay of fhe ard is yo frengfh. elzemiah 8 I YG

icafio N v.,, i it 3 , we , - X is mis 0 is elsle helen Steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord - this typifies the nature and character of those to whom we dedicate this edition of LIVES AGLOW. Only such persons as the Fick sisters could follow the rugged schedule that they do. From 4:30 a. m. to the end of the day, they consistently make wise use of their time, even one working while the other drives. Because of their labor, we recognize that WBI is indebted to the Fick sisters for the role they have played in the school's history. They have watched WBI grow from its be ginnings on the second floor of the First Christian Church -i,n Englewood to its present status. And Miss Helen could tell you how she was anticipating a Christian Serviceman's Center before finding herself involved with WBI. Miss Helen and Miss Elsie have endeared themselves to us in many ways. They have brightened our days with their friendly smiles and cheerful greetings, Their mature wis dom and spiritual counsel have helped us along the way to a better life. A faithful love for us and their love for our Lord Jesus Christ have challenged us. They have selflessly given of their very lives in so many little ways. So it is with great pleasure that we dedicate this annual to Miss Helen and Miss Elsie Fick, as we consider them our double portion from the Lord.
