LIVE AGLUW wg:-' NJ ., N N X w I ' ...walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. -- Ephesians 4:1 There is nothing that will give strength like the Word of Cod. lf we feed on the Word daily, there will be strength to overcome and to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called. We like to think well of ourselves and have others do the same. But when we feed on the Word and see the righteousness of God as revealed therein, we realize that we are undone. We discover that in the flesh dwelleth no good thing. Only by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can we have the righteousness which is required by Cod. Only by feeding on His Word can we live a life that is acceptable to I-lim. The personal pronoun I must be set aside. Instead of exalting self, we must exalt Christ. This is accomplished as we allow the Word of Christ to dwell in us richly. The Bible gives the instruction so that we can perform that which is pleasing to Cod. In the admonition given in Eph. 4:l, we are commanded to walk worthy of the vocation where-with we are called. The word worthy is aXios in the original. This word suggests the idea of weighing one thing against another. The life we live each day should weigh as much as the profession which we make. This same word is also found in Col. l:lO and in Rom. l:l8. The Word will produce this balance in our lives. Our desire for the Class of '65 is that you may continue in the things which you have learned, daily increasing your knowledge of the Bible, and walking according to the instructions Cod has given. This will insure your success in the Lord's service. --PRESIDENT CARL C. HARDWOOD JR. Mr. Art Barr Miss Elsie Fick Mr. Ronald Merryman Mr Wesley Phillips Vice Pres.
