Box 4032 Denver, Colorado Lives Aglow Joy Brompton, Editor IB Qi II TIM 2 'w e F rom the President CARL C. HARWOOD JR. President W. B. I. Instructor: Bible Psychology - Bible The doorstep to the temple of wisdom is a knowledge of our own ignorance by C. H. Spurgeon. Western Bible Institute desires to impart to its students a keen evangelistic and mission- ary zeal together with a testimony combined with Christian scholarship of the highest quality. You may not know the harvest that future months and years will bring forth. There may be purgingg there must be abidingg there should be learning. Determination, foresight, and gentleness should characterize each life. Turn your heart toward a world that is lost, and remember: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmove- able, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. l Corinthians 15:58 DEDICATION In Dedication To Mildred E. Harwood Since the beginning of Western Bible Institute, Mrs. Mildred E. Harwood has enriched the lives of the students and staff with her sweet spirit of love and helpful- ness. In Upon seeing the need of providing Bible school instruction for young people, her husband, Carl C. Harwood, Sr., founded the school in 1948. lt began as asmall institute for a nucleus of young men who desired practical evangelistic training, along with fundamental Bible teaching. Through the years, before and since the death of her husband, Mrs. Harwood has played an invaluable role in the progress of the school. In addition to the many hours spent in working in the office, she has also served faithfully as the head cook and supervisor of the kitchen since the school began. She so radiates kindness and love in all her dealings with the students that they look on her as asecond mom . Mrs. Harwood's son, Carl, Jr. is president of Western Bible Institute. Through the years, Mrs. Harwood has found Psalms 37:4 to be a great blessing. Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 0 Ov 4 4 -Q? x 1 FACU LTY And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
