The theme for this year's annual OUR TREASURE is O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord.n The scriptures tell us how-the whole creation groans and travails together in pain until now. It cries for relief from the curse which fell upon it from God. E The curse from God upon the earth brought to the earth, and also to man, many problems and troubles. The earth since then has been crying out for relief, for comfort, for peace, and also for deliverance from that curse. The groans and the travailing of the earth, perhaps, cannot be heard, but they are there, strong and great. It is only the Word of the Lord jesus Christ which gives that peace, re- lief, comfort, and deliverance whether it be to the whole groaning creation or to the plight of the sinner. It is only the WORD of the Lord Jesus Christ which will reach those that are crying in a voice we cannot hear, but which we know is there. ' - ' ' The purpose of this year's annual is two-fold: One is to present to the reader the crying, lost, and sinful creation that was once perfect, praying that he may be moved to go and say to them thus saith the word of the Lordn and repent so that your sins may be blotted out...M The other is to show through the medium -of these pages the many techniques employed at WABC to equip the student to go iforth preaching to a lost generation. 1-f...1-his woman was full of good works and alms deeds which she ' -' ' did.H Acts 9:36 A Most of the time in the mind of man, he is able to think of ways in which to express the deep-felt impact of anything which has been done. There are times when he is able to show by words of careful choosing the way in which he feels in relation towards that which has been accomp- lished. This time there are no such big words. Words could not be found to express everything. This time there is only a deep and profound gratitude and appreciation. Thirteen years ago she came, and stayed. Ever since she has busied herself with varied responsibilities at both the Western Apostolic Bible College and the First Pentecostal Church. For a number of years she has been a Sunday School Teacher and the Treasurer of the local church. Her labors in the Bible School include such positions as Office Manager and part-time Instructor. Not once was she hesitant or reluctant in the fulfilling of her position, but she trod on toward the finishing of any task. Her work as the scripture above says was U ...full of good works and alms deeds.H She toiled hard and.incessantly. In addition to her regular tasks, she has assisted in the production of the yearbook on a number of occasions. ' In recognition of her unselfish efforts to better this school and the work of the Master, we humbly and sincerely dedicate the l97l annual OUR TREASURE to Sis. Lois Seibold.
