Secand Quarter Seminar FOREIGN MISSIONS The Foreign Missions Seminar which was taught by Rev. David F. Gray and Rev. Oscar Vouga was truly inspired by L l. Both men were highly qualified to teach the students. They were not only a great blessing because of their fine teach- ing in methods and techniques, but they also shared with us their personal experiences in their field of labor. Bro. Vouga taught us the qualifications for a foreign missionary. His years of experience as a Foreign Mission's Director enabled him to give us a wealth of helpful information. Bro. Gray presented the biblical background for the responsibility of being a witness to the whole world. The program of patterns in missions and the faith promise plan was what thrilled me the most. I know it was inspired by God to help evangelize the world. Joe Mendoza' Junior Student esaewgsggger rr ea, f Hams was saga K enum as REV. OSCAR VOUGA Former Director of Foreign Missions REV. First Quarter Seminar Many students expressed their appreciation for the seminar in Church Administration. A few ex- excerpts are given here 1 gained a tremendous wealth of knowledge which will be of great benefit in years to come.N --Gordon Campbell, Sophomore from Scotland. Fabulous! Every young minister should have been here. We received years of hard study and prayer all in two weeks by men who are truly consecrated. Now I have lots to chew on.U --Wendell Elms, Senior from San Diego, Cal. I believe the seminar was the most enriching two weeks I have ever spent.H --Duane Muncy, Freshman from London, Cal. 1 feel that the seminar not only prepared our hearts for the coming weeks of Bible instruc- tion and spiritual activities in Bible School, but it helped to lay the foundation for the future ministeries of all of us. I don't know of a place anywhere in Pentecost that I could have received such instruction as I have found here in Bible College.U --Job Miraflor, Junior from Stockton, Cal. -1 REV. J. T. PUGH National Director of Home Missions HUME MISSIONS The Student Body of Western Apostolic Bible College received some of the finest Holy Ghost- inspired teaching that can be obtained in Pente- cost. I, along with other students, received information, advice, and teaching that not only will benefit me in Bible School but will also be of much help in years to come. Many of the stu- dents have indicated that their sense of direc- tion in God's great program has been shown to a greater extent by the ministry of these two fine men. There are people that would have given a big sum of money to have had the privilege of receiving such teachingg therefore, 1 am very grateful for the opportunity of taking advantage of this seminar on Home Missions. The practical information that was given to future ministers is beyond words to describe I feel that there is no place where a person could have spent five days that would have been of more benefit to his future ministry. The seminars, 1 believe, are the most informing and inspiring asset that WABC has ever intered into its curriculum. I am thankful that I was a part of this program. Lee Sturdivan Freshman Student The power of the Lord fell at the church during the revival which Bro. Pugh preached at the Home Missions Seminar.
