---n maria, . - . , rar marins , i MESSAGE -EWQWWH fijia, 5 if' W The theme selected for our.l97O-71 annual has been chosen from the text found in Jeremiah.22:29: H O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord.H,'A- - ' We live in a humiliated earth, for much of her one-time glory has been robbed. Where once she held her head high as her power of gravity defied the escape of any of her inhabi- tants, man has now soared out of her atmosphere onto the sur- face of the moon. Where once the vast distance of her globe tested the steel and bravery of men by months and years of navigation, today's traveler can make the journey of her cir- cumference in ninety minutes or less. Again, when once the vastness oi Iier terrain offered to supply many, many times more provisions than earth's inhabitants could ever use, to- day's cry of a H population explosionn echoes with fears of famine and contaminated water. Yes, even her air that we breathe threatens and endangers the earth dweller with its polution. While all these depreciating facts defy the once-superior splendor of our earth, there remains one area where the values have never changed: ,that is in the esteem of her creator. H God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son..f' and H The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereofn point to the fact that God's redemptive plan included not only the race, but also the restoration of the globe on which we live. Until the time of that restoration, we are sent forth into all the world to preach the gospel. 'It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save men. How will they hear with- out a preacher...9 It has been the vision of Western Apostolic Bible College to help fulfill this request. Rev. Clyde J. Haney President

1-f...1-his woman was full of good works and alms deeds which she ' -' ' did.H Acts 9:36 A Most of the time in the mind of man, he is able to think of ways in which to express the deep-felt impact of anything which has been done. There are times when he is able to show by words of careful choosing the way in which he feels in relation towards that which has been accomp- lished. This time there are no such big words. Words could not be found to express everything. This time there is only a deep and profound gratitude and appreciation. Thirteen years ago she came, and stayed. Ever since she has busied herself with varied responsibilities at both the Western Apostolic Bible College and the First Pentecostal Church. For a number of years she has been a Sunday School Teacher and the Treasurer of the local church. Her labors in the Bible School include such positions as Office Manager and part-time Instructor. Not once was she hesitant or reluctant in the fulfilling of her position, but she trod on toward the finishing of any task. Her work as the scripture above says was U ...full of good works and alms deeds.H She toiled hard and.incessantly. In addition to her regular tasks, she has assisted in the production of the yearbook on a number of occasions. ' In recognition of her unselfish efforts to better this school and the work of the Master, we humbly and sincerely dedicate the l97l annual OUR TREASURE to Sis. Lois Seibold. Office Manager, Instructor, Church Treasurer, and Daughter of the King, asking God to strengthen her in her future endeavors. A EDITORIAL STAFF
