DEDICATION i Shown above is Sis. Ongliee Ogden with the grill which the Ladies Auxiliary donated to the school. We appreciate Sis. Ogden's work with the Ladies' Auxiliary, as well as the former presidents', and her con- cern for young people. May God richly reward her and every member of the Ladies' Auxiliary for their faithfulness. The Ladies' Auxilary of the Western District, under the leadership of Sis. Ogden and the former presidents has been a tremendous help to the Western Apostolic Bible School. Their work concerning the school covers many phases: sponsoring evangelists to needy churches: funds to support theHome Mission program in which the school par- ticipates: supplying students that are sent to help in new works: donating grocery supplies to the school: and also, recently donating a larger and more serviceable grill for the snack bar. The school has received much publicity from their loyal and faithful support. The attending of Bible School by Koto Fujibayashi and So Won Kim, both foreign stu- dents, was made possible by the Ladies' Auxilary's great concern to see young people receive training for the Master's service. All of these things are deeply appreciated, and dwygupmpt us to express our sincere thankfulness by dedicating the 1966-67 annual, Our Treasure, to the Western District Ladies' Auxilary. f3Xsyg? y N 'f mxsxe In the sixth chapter of Jeremiah, the prophet from his spiritual mountain peak was viewing the wanderings of his people as they were meeting their spiritual death traveling on strange and unbeaten paths. These paths were not made by in- spired God-sent trail blazers but by men who were lost themselves and whose paths led to destruction. As the prophet was moved by the plight of these misguided ones, he cried, 'Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls...' Jer. 6:16 A good trail blazer is one who can observe the terrain and detect the areas of safety and good provision while at the same time also discern the regions that hold hidden dangers and starvation. Many of the early pioneers of the old west had such a good sense of direction and regional evaluation that today many of our highways and freeways follow these old paths such as the El Camino Real, Carson Pass, etc. In these days of many strange spiritual guidesbeating out a way that seemeth right but the end thereof is death, God is searching for trail blazers that have iron constitutions, not having been affected by the soft 'sissy-fied' spirit of this age, who can go into the wilderness areas and establish strong Pentecostal churches. Western Apostolic Bible College has provided many of these fine leaders who have not been afraid of the rugged terrain of the unchallenged areas. To the 1967 graduates we wish to congratulate you for your fine achievement in preparation for the unconquered fields before you. We have confidence that this class will prove to be Apostolic Trail Blazers whose paths will lead many to righteousness. THE PRESlDENl9S MESSAGE
