Haskell Yadon Rev Uscar Vouga Foreign Missionary Director Cbeofcabon , The editorial staff of the Western Apostolic Bible College chose to honor for this year's annual dedication, the Home and Foreign Mission- ary Departments of the United Pentecostal church. We feel that the fine directors of these departments are worthy of much recognition. The won- derful work of Bev. Haskell Yadon of the Home Missionary Department and and of Rev. Oscar Vouga of the Foreign Missionary Department has been paramount in the winning of thousands of souls both home and abroad and on the missionary fields. God alone could give these men just reward. All we can do is thank God that He has given us such fine leaders. During the early half of this century various groups were organized. Among them two of the major bodies known as The Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ, Inc., and The Pentecostal Church, Inc., became so closely associated in doctrine and fellowship that in l944 steps were taken to unite the two bodies into one organization known as the United Pentecostal Church. Our organization has made tremendous strides in its missionary endeavors considering it is but twenty-one years old. Already we have missionaries in nearly sixty countries of the world and home mission works in many areas of the United States. However, we appreciate our missionary departments because they have refused to relax. For, there are still over forty countries who do not have one witness. This is why we thank God for our missionary departments and for the in- dividuals who are concerned with their functions. For it has well been said that where there is no vision, the people perish. To the faithful people who represent our Home and Foreign Missionary Departments, we dedicate this 1964-65 annual,OUR TREASURE.May God con- tinue to use you as He has in the past. Home Missionary Director

' t Q: f-me fig,-if-asf-Jw' ,T rd QQ... Qjre.91bQ12f's Wessaye The words of the wise preacher when he said, Buy the Truth and sell it not,' could never have found a more timely era tofchallenge humanity than now. Every worthy conflict has had Truth at its equator, motivating it: yet it has never been without its adversaries. When Truth was personified in Him who could say, I am the Truth,n he was faced by a hostile world. The intensity of this battle is drawing near its zenith as we draw near the time of the master deceiver, the Anti-Christ. From the great conflicts of History, we find.it was the young who were called to the LINE OF DEFENSE. Like-wise, the challenge of today is YOUTH FOR TRUTH, This year, as in the past, from the campus of W.A.B.C. will go some of the finest of our Youth who have finished their training and are marching forth to meet the challenge of this closing Dispensation. May God's Blessing and Anointing be on this graduating Class of 1965. May Truth be purchased at any cost, and be sold for no price however great. flydeflfefwwgz

- Location of First Bible School gk 1 linux I Ili WHYB ... by .. ., 6 EE. md JZ , Dedication for Foundation of New Bible College Though the need for a Jesus' Name Bible School on the West Coast was keenly felt by various individuals for many years, it was not until the spring of 1951 that definite steps were under- taken to establish such an institution under the leadership of Rev. C.J. Haney, pastor of the First Pentecostal Churchof Stockton. The first undertaking began in February 1949, when classes were held in the basement rooms of the First Pentecostal Church of Stockton, located on Harding Way. The results were very good and encouraging, but because of the rapid growth of the school it was necessary to find another location. One remarkable evidence that God was behind this effort was the finding of ideal property for the school by Bro. Willie Renison. The property, three and one-half acres, was then pur- chased on Cherokee Lane, and work started immediately in reno- vation of the two-story house into a girls' dormitory, then the hmndation was laid for the school building itself On June 21, 1953, formal dedication services were held. Octo- ber 5, 1953, marked the opening day of school. On this notable day the manifested glory and presence of the Lord signified His approval of this effort. Thus, Western Apostolic Bible College efficially opened its doors as an institution dedicated to the cause of training young men and women for full-time Christian service.
