CLASS OFFICERS Tommy Bryant, President; Julia Scruggs, Secretary; Ranee Gerringer, Treasurer; Ronnie Westbrook, Vice-President. On August 31, 1966, two hundred seven freshmen entered the halls of Western High School. At first we were a little hesitant to accept our new roles, for W. H. S. seemed strange and sometimes frightening. We were the green freshmen, and the upper classmen never let us forget it. But we were a part of the school; as the year passed, we became willing and eager to link ourselves with the school and its activities. We yelled loudly, We ' re from Western and no one could be prouder, for we were happy to be a part of the Western High School world.
