Summer Break - A Time To Prosper By the time June arrives each year, most students have long decided where they’ll be spending their summer. While some demand the beach and waterfront scene as the ultimate in summer pleasure, others venture into the working world to discover the bonuses and the drawbacks to summer employment. Ideally these job opportunities afford students the chance to earn some money and, in some cases, to work in a new environment with entirely new acquaintances and, best of all, without the pressures of the school year. 4 Determined to make the sale, Susan Capalbo (above) personally models the latest shade of eyeshadow at JCPenny’s. “Sorry but we really don’t carry size 3 of Pierre Cardin in our inventory,” responds the ever-cheerful Margaret Smith (right) at Gabrielle’s of Watch Hill.
