SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Treasurer, Resa Lewiss, President, Tricia Gagnon, Secretary, Amy Stebbins, Social Chairperson, Korie Denham, Vice President, Karen Morrone. SENIOR CLASS ADVISORS: Francesca Bedell, Suzanne Doherty. 10 To my fellow classmates, the Class of 1988: Now that our senior year has drawn to a close, we can reflect on the time that we have shared together as a class with a sense of joy and fulfillment. From the beginning, we established ourselves as an imaginative class eager to express our originality despite some skepticism. Through observation of our early accomplishments, a growing number of classmates sensed the energy that we generated and were encouraged to share in our future endeavors. As a result, we were able to gain the approval of the Administration in our efforts to move the Christmas Ball to the old gym and we were able to restore an old tradition. That is, we were the first class in nearly a decade to bring the Junior Prom back to the high school-a successful feat which was made possible through the ingenuity of our advisor, Mrs. Doherty, and the enthusiastic efforts of our class. Through all of these achievements, we realized some of our own shortcomings and were able to accept them in ourselves and others. The lesson to be learned was that we ought to appreciate the goodness in each other rather than the flaws. When faced with setbacks, our class exhibited their maturity by always responding with optimism and patience. These admirable qualities clearly served as an example for classes in the future to follow. Yet, with such great cause for gratification we are indebted to our parents and those teachers by whose guidance our characters have been molded and our values established. We also extend the warmest thanks to our friends with whom we’ve grown and shared the understanding of jubilance and misfortune. With regard to the future, I sincerely hope that you, the members of our class, will achieve the goals you have set for yourselves and in so doing be considerate of others. Don’t be complacent. Be involved. The next few years will lay the foundation for your future. Grasp every opportunity that may benefit your progress but meanwhile take time to savor life’s most simple offerings. In closing, I wish to thank each and every one of you for all the support you have given me and my fellow officers. These past years have been an experience that I shall always treasure. I wish you all a world of happiness and success. Patricia A. Gagnon President, Class of 1988
