June, 1973 GERALD M. DUNN To the CLASS of 1973: I strongly urge that you look upon your graduation from Westerly High School not as the end of a long road but as the beginning of a new journey. Envision your graduation as a first step on the ladder of success. Remember that the rung of a ladder was never meant to rest upon, but only to hold one's foot long enough to enable you to put the other somewhat higher. Set for yourself a high goal and trust that life, chance, help from others and your own growing experience and ability will in time enable you to advance step by step to your goal.
