DEDICATION Mr. Thomas Ryan We will always remember you, Thomas Ryan, because above all you were a friend as well as a teacher. You treated us as equals — clarifying our own ideas rather than simply dictating your own. Your patience and willingness to listen have won you a permanent place in our memories. To the Class of 1972, you are epitomized by the statement, his chief object has been not to be feared but loved. Therefore, we, the Class of 1972, dedicate this yearbook to you, Mr. Ryan. s.j. g.b. 4

APPRECIATION Mrs. Joyce Fletcher Reflecting back upon our high school days, the image of you, Mrs. Fletcher, comes quickly to mind. The knowledge you imparted to us will never be forgotten — most especially, the knowledge of ourselves which we were able to gain through your guidance. Both in and out of the classroom you taught us to think for ourselves, to be open-minded, and to be aware of what was going on around us. With your understanding and optimistic laughter, you made the road from childhood to young adulthood much less painful for us all. You have won the highest honor for a teacher, the complete trust and respect of her students. Therefore, Mrs. Fletcher, the Class of 1972 gratefully thanks you, a wonderful teacher and friend, for all that you have done for us. We hope to be remembered with as much affection as we shall remember you. gc. APPRECIATION Mr. Thomas Terranova We, the Class of 1972, take this time to thank you, Mr. Terranova, for the miracles you have accomplished for our benefit. As a single man, you have displayed the energy and enthusiasm of three people, resulting in the best athletic program that our schools have ever had. You first won our respect as a fine teacher at the Junior High School. Now, as a coach and athletic director, our esteem for you has continued to grow. We will never forget it was you who succeeded in acquiring better facilities, and instituting many new and varied athletic programs for us. A wonderful individual, you have spread your enthusiasm throughout the entire student body and faculty. We, along with our fellow students and the whole community, sincerely appreciate the tremendous amount of time and effort you have given for us. Mr. Terranova, you will always be fondly remembered by the Class of 1972.
