Gerald M. Dunn CLASS OF 1972: I offer my sincere congratulations to you, the graduating Class of 1972. This particular period of time in your lives need not be and should not be the termination of your education. Never before in our nation’s history has there been such tremendous opportunity for self-advancement. Your parents and school have provided you with the basic necessities which will enable you to become a productive citizen of your community and nation. It is now encumbent on you to broaden and enrich that background to achieve successes far beyond those my generation ever dreamed possible. Sincerely, Gerald M. Dunn, Principal To The Class of 1972: Graduation is also called commencement.” With it commences a new and freer chapter of your life, however, the full responsibility for your life will now fall on yon. The next chapter of your life will determine your vocation, marriage, social position, the place where you will live, raise a family, and make friends. It will be the longest and most important portion of your life, to be measured not in years, but in decades. Our educational objective was not to give you facts to remember, but the tools with which you yourself might gain the knowledge to find the pattern of life which will be the best for you. Let us hope that we have succeeded and that your adult life will be stimulating and rewarding. Sincerely yours, Edward T. Morenzoni Superintendent of Schools 6 Edward T. Morenzoni
