GKRALD M. DUNN Class of 1971: Today, more than ever, it is expected that men will hold different aims and ideas and that such aims and ideas will sometimes clash. As future citizens, you have the right and even the duty to object to what you feel is wrong. But in presenting your criticism, you must apply strong efforts so designed to remedy what you criticized. We know that professional training is not necessary to comfort the sorrowfid, to give hope to the discouraged, or to provide a reason for living to those who have all hut lost it. Many of our nation's problems have been solved through love ami understanding. Let your actions of the future he the true acid test of your commitment to the dignity of man. Sincerely, Gerald M. Dunn, Principal Members of the Class of 1971 In your high school years you have been given the opportunity to gain tin- knowledge and wisdom necessary for a successful beginning of your adult life. Each of you lias received equally the best of the experience of'teachers skilled in imparting to youth the learnings necessary to success. The degree to which you accepted them and, particularly, the degree to which you will see them, will determine your success in the future. 1 am confident that each of you will make the proper use of your knowledge and wisdom so that you will have a rewarding and stimulating life. Sincerely yours, Edward T. Morenzoni Superintendent of Schools 6 EDWARD T. MORENZONI
