Fellow Classmates, Teachers, Parents and Friends: We have now come to the end of a wonderful association with our fellow students and teachers. We shall never forget the three years of excitement, activities, hard work, and satisfaction it has brought to all of us. These enjoyable years would not have been possible if it were not for the encouragement and many sacrifices of our parents. We also wish to thank the citizens of Westerly and the school administrators for providing us with an excellent school system. Their encouragement, patience, and long hours of guiding us in the right direction, are appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. We especially wish to thank our principal, Mr. Stevens, and our class advisor, Mrs. Robinson, who never ceased their efforts to help us solve our many problems. In closing, fellow graduates, we should never forget how fortunate we are to be living in an age of endless opportunities. All of us have the same chance to make the best of these opportunities, because we live in a country that is second to none. Whether we choose to go on to a higher education or to some other vocation in life, let us never forget Westerly High School. Above all, may Westerly High School hold us in the highest esteem.
