DEDICATION MR. CYRUS MORGAN Trailing through Westerly High School and leading into Room 28, the guidance room, is a path worn by the many braves and squaws of the class of 1957 who desired a pow-wow with the wise white father and class advisor, Cyrus N. Morgan. Sometimes we visited him to make peace (after trouble with classwork), and still other times it was to receive a new feather for our headpiece (after receiving his commendations). It is also certain that every brave and squaw gratefully welcomed his advice concerning plans for our new life upon leaving Indian territory. It is not just Indian talk when we call Mr. Morgan wise white father, for the fatherly attention he gave to us justifies the use of the word. He took the interest in us that a father takes in his child and understood us like a father. And so, as a small homage to demonstrate our deep appreciation, we, the class of 1957, dedicate to you, Mr. Morgan, the results of our final efforts as a class, our yearbook, The Bulldog. JUH 9 3
