Jim Lepikko, Lee Greenwood, Dave Sea-graves, John Harding, George Mayhew, Matthew-Lewiss and Neil Thorpe were members of the band for three years. Jim LaPietra and John Joyce, Co-Captains, were largely responsible for their success. Bob Laing and Jim Lepikko also played a big part in bringing about the championship and shared in the headlines. Reggie Beers and John Harding played on the second team. Another project which proved the initiative of the senior class was the organization of a basketball program committee.
