Army. Because of Miss Walker’s heavy gym schedule, she was unable to carry out the Intramural schedule. Miss Carlesi, a recent graduate of W H S. who realized how much the girls enjoy participating in Intramurals, readily agreed to render her assistance. We all thank Miss Carlesi for the overall success of our senior Intramural program. Judy Stone and Judy Fiore were senior candidates for queen at the Sweetheart Swing. Tryouts for the senior play, a drama entitled Remarkable Incident at Car-sons Corners” were met with eager attendance. Distribution of blue and gold decorations to Navy fans and orange and brown ornaments to Army fans helped to build enthusiasm. Pat Nardone, Jacquic Joy, and Lois Spo-sato, representing Navy, and Mary Wilson and Ruth Vars, representing Army, were chosen to play for their respective teams.
