The senior display committee, of which Angelo Spezzano was Chairman, w'on second place in the re-organized Thanksgiving Day competition. The following seniors helped to make the display: Joe Olean, Elaine Bookataub, Cam my MacNeil, Frank Celico and Connie DeBar-tolo. The display consisted of a table at which the tw'o Co-Captains were seated, each holding a bottle of blood. On one side was a large bulldog holding a tiny teddy bear and there were two signs reading What Do We Eat? Bear 22

It was surrounded by her very attractive court: Joan Edwards, Jacquie Joy, Fatty Nardone, Joan Rindell, Elaine Scrra, and Ruth Vars. The spirit of football soon filled the hearts of all. Elected to the post of leaders of our football team were Donald Felicetti and Matt Lewiss. Mike Urso, Angelo Comforti, Tom Nardone, and Benny Brown were outstanding senior members of the team who assisted them to five victories and five losses. Our team standing at the end of the season was fourth place. This was the first time in four years that we defeated Stonington. We totaled a thirty-eight-point margin lead, which. In November 1956 we had a taste of democracy by conducting a mock election under the supervision of Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith believes that learning is facilitated through participation and observation. His untiring efforts to carry on such demonstrations as a mock election and a model legislature are proof of this. Ruth vars, Populist Chairman, and Jack Eld-ridge, Progressive Chairman, conducted their political campaigns similar to those of our nation.
